The Opportunity
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination of accounts payable, ElectraNet credit cards, and the Concur expense system. You will also contribute to developing policies, procedures, and process improvements that strengthen governance and enhance efficiency.
Key Focus Areas:
- Process invoices and ensure timely, accurate payment runs
- Support credit card administration and expense claim processing
- Investigate and resolve outstanding accounts payable or GRIR balances
- Provide subject matter expertise on SAP and Concur systems
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering accurate and efficient financial processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring initiative, adaptability, and confidence to drive improvements.
Experience and Skills:
- Approximately five years’ experience in AP orsimilar financial support
- Strong SAP skills, especially in AP and vendor processes
- Concur experience
- Strong Excel capability for reporting and reconciliation
- High volume invoicing experience
- Knowledge of accounts payable and procurement processes
- Experience in utilities or manufacturing environments (advantage)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting (desirable)
