The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll support the procurement and contract management of materials and services for transmission projects and maintenance works. You’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely acquisition, robust contract administration, and value-driven commercial outcomes.
You’ll be involved in:
- Developing acquisition strategies and tender documentation.
- Supporting contract negotiations and administration.
- Managing supplier relationships and performance.
- Preparing reports and insights for senior leadership.
- Collaborating across teams to deliver project outcomes
About You
Here’s what we’re looking for in our new Associate:
- Experience in procurement and contracts, ideally in construction or maintenance.
- Knowledge of category management, contract law, and procurement strategies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with SAP relating to P2P and procurement functions, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit.
- Strong stakeholder management coupled with well-developed negotiation and resolution skills.
Bonus points if you have experience in the electricity industry or are a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).
