The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Officer to join a high-performing project team supporting a significant uplift in capital delivery. This role sits within a fast-paced environment where project activity has grown substantially, creating the need for dedicated support to enhance coordination, reporting, and overall delivery efficiency.
Working alongside Project Managers as an administration support resource, you will play a key role in reducing the clerical burden across the team, allowing projects to run more smoothly and effectively. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an administration role within a fast-moving project environment.
Based in Adelaide, this full-time role will also cover the following key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day project administration support across a large portfolio of projects.
- Administration assistance with project reporting, documentation, and data management.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, collate documentation and distribution, minute taking, schedules, and stakeholder communications.
- Support financial processes including purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliations. SAP (highly regarded).
- Maintain accurate project records, systems, and registers through SharePoint or OpenText (highly regarded).
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with the HR team for new resources.
- Contribute to process improvements across project support functions.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive office support professional who thrives in a project-driven environment. You enjoy working across multiple priorities, take initiative to solve problems, and are comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders. You bring strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience as an administration project support, or business support role within a project-based environment.
- Exposure to project reporting, coordination, or project control activities (highly regarded).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- High level attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and systems.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel with experience in document and data management systems.
- Arranging travel CTM (highly regarded).
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support a broad range of tasks and a large team.
- Identify safety issues within the office and raise tickets for rectification.
