The Opportunity

As a Communications Advisor, you’ll play a key role in how ElectraNet tells its story ensuring our communications connect, inspire and strengthen our reputation as we energise South Australia’s clean energy future.

We have two exciting 12 month opportunities based in Adelaide available:

  • Communications Advisor – Media & Corporate – shaping ElectraNet’s brand and voice through media engagement, corporate content, and strategic storytelling.
  • Communications Advisor – Digital & Content – creating engaging digital experiences, managing online platforms and driving impactful content strategies.

Both positions sit within the Corporate Affairs team and contribute to major project communications, advocacy, and reputation management.

Key focus areas include:

  • Delivering proactive, creative communications across media, corporate, digital and content channels.
  • Supporting ElectraNet’s reputation and stakeholder engagement through compelling storytelling.
  • Collaborating across business units to plan, develop and execute internal and external communication strategies.
  • Managing media liaison, social media, web content, and campaign performance reporting.

About You

You’ll bring curiosity, creativity and a knack for crafting messages that connect.

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have experience developing and delivering communication strategies, media relations, and/or digital content in complex organisations.
  • Possess exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate technical or complex topics into accessible, engaging stories.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with professionalism and creativity.
