The Opportunity

ElectraNet is seeking a talented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in protecting our essential electricity grid.  In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating security technologies to keep our systems safe from ever-evolving threats.  You'll also provide expert advice and guidance, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure our security posture is aligned with business needs. 

About You

 

The successful applicant will be/have: 

  • A highly motivated and results-oriented cybersecurity professional with 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role. 
  • Experience in a cybersecurity analyst role or similar. 
  • A strong understanding of industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., AESCSF, Essential 8 and NIST CSF). 
  • Proven experience in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management. 
  • A results-oriented cybersecurity professional with a strong understanding of industry best practices. 
  • A strong analyst with the ability to understand complex technical information and translate it into clear, concise communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
