The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team to play a key role in operationalising  our people strategy. In this role, you'll provide expert HR guidance and support to leaders and employees across the business, partnering with them to achieve our vision for growth.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with leaders on organisational design, resource planning, succession and employee development initiatives.
  • Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement, recognition, and well-being programs.
  • Support the implementation of HR systems, policies and processes, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities to streamline HR practices and enhance the employee experience.

About You

 

We are seeking:

  • Someone with a strong understanding of contemporary HR practices and industrial relations, with extensive advisory experience in the HR generalist space.
  • A positive and pro-active problem-solver with the ability to communicate with impact and provide meaningful advice that achieves outcomes that are best for business.
  • A solutions-focussed team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and who can influence outcomes through others and drive progress and action.
  • Someone who is highly organised with a keen eye for detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Someone with a keen interest in getting involved in additional projects and activities outside of day to day operational HR activities.

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in job design and evaluation using Mercer's CED Job Evaluation methodology
  • Experience with SAP, Success Factors.
  • Qualifications in HR, Business Management, Psychology or related field.
