  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline and any certification in CCNA/CCNP would be highly regarded.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of IP/MPLS networks and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and Multi-Protocol BGP.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Nokia network equipment, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba Wi-Fi platforms.
  • Proficiency in network automation and scripting using Python, YAML, and Ansible, with knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and version control.
  • Strong grasp of Linux operating systems for managing network devices.
  • Experience managing voice technologies like Cisco Unified Call Manager and IP Trade systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, network security best practices, and change management processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-availability OT environment, supporting real-time systems like SCADA.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and external partners.
