The Opportunity

Australia’s energy system is undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation, and ElectraNet is helping lead that change. We’re looking for a creative Media & Content Producer (14th month mat leave cover) to join our Corporate Affairs team and help tell our story — visually, authentically and with impact.

This role is hands-on and creative, with a strong focus on video, photography and visual storytelling. You’ll plan, produce, edit and deliver engaging content for internal and external audiences, working closely with colleagues across the business and with external creatives when required.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end production of video, photography and visual media content
  • Create compelling visual stories that support internal communications, digital channels and brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate ideas and complex information into engaging visual content
  • Coordinate and manage external creatives, including brief development and logistics
  • Maintain and contribute to ElectraNet’s media and asset library, ensuring content is accessible and on-brand
  • Work collaboratively with graphic design and corporate affairs colleagues to support broader campaigns and publications

About You

You’re a creative visual storyteller who enjoys taking ideas from concept through to delivery. You’re comfortable working independently, juggling priorities, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience producing high-quality video and photographic content for internal or external audiences
  • Strong capability using digital production tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud), with training support available for the right candidate
  • Have experience providing support with graphic design (highly desirable)
  • Confidence working with cameras and production equipment, or transferable experience from agency, freelance or related creative environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach and enthusiasm for learning new tools and techniques
  • Tertiary qualifications in multimedia, communications, design or a related field are desired, or equivalent industry experience.
