Project Manager
About ElectraNet
ElectraNet builds, owns, operates and maintains the high voltage electricity transmission network which delivers the energy South Australians rely on to power our homes, businesses and communities. Our employees describe our culture as one that is supportive, inclusive, and community-oriented, where we genuinely want each other to succeed.
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager in the Contracted Delivery team, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering complex transmission projects that keep the state’s energy flowing. This isn’t just project management—it’s about shaping the future of energy infrastructure. These projects are complex, high-value, and critical to powering homes, businesses, and industries across South Australia.
You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, from design through construction and commissioning, ensuring they meet stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This is a role where your decisions matter—you’ll be balancing technical precision, commercial outcomes, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
If you love variety, thrive under pressure, and want to see your work power an entire state, this is the role for you. We welcome applications from those seeking either a full time or part time (0.8) work options.
About You
You’re a natural leader who thrives on complexity and loves seeing projects come to life. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within electricity transmission or large-scale infrastructure—you know what it takes to deliver results in a high-stakes environment.
Your background includes tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or a related discipline, and you’re comfortable navigating industry standards and regulatory frameworks like the National Electricity Rules.
Risk management isn’t just a checkbox for you—it’s second nature. You understand project methodologies like PMBOK and critical path planning, and you’re confident in contract management and commercial decision-making.
You’ll bring more than technical know-how; you’re an excel communicator, a negotiator, and a problem-solver. You can manage competing priorities without breaking a sweat, and you know how to influence stakeholders and keep teams motivated.
Above all, you’re adaptable, collaborative, and ready to lead projects that make a real impact on South Australia’s energy future.
