The Opportunity

Are you a data-driven professional who thrives on building insightful dashboards and shaping enterprise-wide analytics?


ElectraNet is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the management and evolution of our Microsoft business intelligence ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This influential role plays a key part in driving data-informed decision-making and shaping the future of analytics across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and enhance the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platforms, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to business stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and driving data strategy alignment.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality BI services and projects.
  • Promote best practices in data management and analytics to support strategic goals.
  • Contribute to and help grow ElectraNet’s Data & Analytics Community of Practice, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

About You

You’re a skilled BI professional with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

  • Experience in designing intuitive dashboards and applying best practices in data visualisation to tell compelling stories.
  • Strong experience in administering Power BI platforms, with deep expertise in data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, with a customer-focused, outcome-driven approach that fosters strong partnerships with stakeholders and service providers.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Information Management, Computer or similar.
  • Electricity Industry background an advantage.
