The Opportunity

 

The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality of products or services within a specific project by overseeing and managing testing activities. This includes developing test strategies, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables meet business and technical requirements. The successful applicant will also manage defect tracking, perform risk management, and provide regular quality reports to stakeholders, ensuring that the project adheres to its quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.


Success in this role is defined by the individual’s ability to ensure high-quality outcomes across all phases of the project lifecycle. A successful Senior Test Analyst ensures that all business and technical requirements are thoroughly validated through both manual and automated testing, and that test activities are completed on time and within the defined project scope. Meeting key milestones without delays is an essential measure of planning, execution, and cross-team coordination skills.

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will possess extensive experience as a Test Analyst, including a minimum of 3 years in a Test Lead position. Your expertise spans manual and automated testing, with proficiency in one or many tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, and Appium. You will also have hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM, and PractiTest. 


You will be well-versed in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, and you will demonstrate strong leadership skills in managing test activities, including planning and scheduling. Your capabilities extend to excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, continuous improvement focussed, effective communication and be highly proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects and priorities.
