The Opportunity

This is a high impact Solution Architect role where you’ll design and guide enterprise scale solutions that directly support ElectraNet’s transformation roadmap and South Australia’s clean energy future. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you’ll shape secure, scalable and future focused architectures within a complex, mission critical environment, while influencing how architecture is applied across major programs and platforms.

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures aligned to enterprise strategy and target state architecture.
• Lead architectural decisions across cloud, integration, data and enterprise platforms.
• Influence delivery teams, stakeholders and vendors without formal line management. 
• Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, patterns and long-term roadmaps.

About You

You are an experienced Solution Architect or senior technical professional who excels at translating complex business requirements into clear, scalable and secure solution designs. You bring strong solution architecture capability across multiple domains and enjoy working in complex, regulated environments where solution quality, resilience and long‑term sustainability are critical. You’re comfortable leading through influence, partnering with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape outcomes that align with enterprise strategy and future‑state architecture.

• Strong experience designing enterprise‑grade solutions across application, data, integration and technology domains.
• Hands‑on capability across modern architectures including cloud (Azure), APIs, integration and data platforms.
• Proven ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. 
• Solid understanding of cyber security principles and risk‑based, compliant solution design.
• Experience working within enterprise architecture standards, governance and design assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant architecture or cloud certifications (desirable).
• Relevant heavy asset industry experience (desirable)
