The Opportunity

As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of our Customer Connections strategy and contributing to ElectraNet's regulated and contracted business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and contribute to significant energy infrastructure projects across South Australia.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting new business opportunities: Assisting with connection projects and Build, Own, Operate and Maintain business.
- Contributing to winning proposals: Assisting in the preparation of compelling proposals, bids, and transaction documentation.
- Facilitating agreements: Supporting the development of contracts and agreements.
- Bridging technical understanding with business needs: Developing an understanding of our technical capabilities and applying this to customer connection activities.
- Supporting commercial and financial aspects: Assisting with due diligence and financial activities for new opportunities.
- Preparing customer-facing materials: Helping to create presentations and offer documentation.
- Engaging key stakeholders: Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners, understanding their challenges and priorities.
About You
- Experience in identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities. This could include roles within commercial contracting, account management, or business development.
- A strong foundation in project support, timeline management, and ensuring smooth execution, skills often honed in roles such as Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or Technical Officer could be a great foundation for success in this role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- High level organisational skills and experience reviewing and understanding documentation.
- Familiarity with the renewable energy industry is advantageous however not essential.
- A willingness to learn and develop an understanding of technical concepts and the energy industry.
- Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
