The Opportunity
ElectraNet is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to help drive the evolution of our Sustainability Strategy. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality data collection, analytics, and reporting to support our ESG and carbon reduction commitments.
You’ll work closely with our Project Delivery and Sustainability teams, as well as a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to implement frameworks such as the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Rating, Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmarking (GRESB), National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER). Your insights will help shape strategic decisions and ensure alignment with our broader sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing evolution of ElectraNet’s Sustainability Strategy
- Lead sustainability data collection, monitoring, and analysis
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting including GRESB, NGER, and other internal and external reports
- Develop and maintain sustainability communications such as reports, newsletters, and website updates
- Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment
- Support ESG-related communications with the Board, Executive, investors, and ratings agencies
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments relevant to sustainability
What Success Looks Like:
- A well-established rhythm of data collection, analysis, and communication
- Clear, actionable insights that influence sustainability initiatives and outcomes
- Accurate and timely sustainability reporting that supports strategic decision-making
About You
- You’re passionate about sustainability, data analytics, and leveraging business tools to drive positive environmental outcomes
- You’re proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- You bring proven experience delivering sustainability or related programs in a corporate environment
- You have expertise in climate action and emissions reporting to support target setting, net zero planning, and climate risk management
- You’re confident managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- You excel at multitasking, prioritising, and meeting tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, engineering, environmental science, or a related field
- ISC Accredited Professional (ISAP) certification or willingness to obtain (desirable)
