The Opportunity
Join ElectraNet as a Finance Business Partner and play a pivotal role in supporting the Assets and Delivery divisions through financial planning, performance management and commercial insights.
This is an opportunity to partner with senior leaders, influence key business decisions, and provide analysis that supports business performance and long-term value.
You'll own budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes while contributing to a more data-driven, efficient and financially sustainable organisation.
Working at the forefront of South Australia's clean energy transition, you'll combine strong stakeholder engagement with analytical expertise to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
- Provide monthly reporting, performance analysis and actionable business insights.
- Partner with stakeholders to influence decisions and improve financial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting and analytics processes.
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on partnering with stakeholders to influence business outcomes.
With strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis within a complex organisation, you're able to translate data into meaningful insights and confidently challenge
assumptions to drive better decisions.
You bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills and the ability to balance commercial thinking with hands-on delivery.
Experience with financial systems, reporting tools and continuous improvement initiatives will set you up for success in this role.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
- CA/CPA qualifications and experience working in a complex business environment.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent approved accountancy/postgraduate qualification).
While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:
- Experience in a regulated utilities environment or a similar industry.
- Familiarity with SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Understanding of cost allocation methodologies within a business context
